So for a ministry I am still working on this prayer house.  It looks like we will start putting up a roof soon, and hopefully we will start ten hours of prayer a day withing the week!!!  God is doing so much!!  I love him with everything I have to give, which isn’t that much, but he takes what I have and makes it huge!

The new house situation is pretty great, it’s nice to have some space to roam around.  I killed my first snake with a matchete!!  It was pretty small, but hey.  We killed a scorpion last night too.  I scored in the soccer game last week too.  Oh yeah, and my overhead fan fell on my bed and almost sliced me as I slept.  So thats pretty much life!  I’m happy as can be, except for the fact that I miss everyone back home!!!

  1. hahaha…
    I can see you killing a snake…
    I’m proud of you.
Just as long as it’s not MY snake, I’m okay with it. 😉
    Have a great day!

  2. OK, I’m impressed…killing a snake with a machete means you had to get pretty close to it. You might as well come home now cuz I don’t know what you can possibly do to top that! 🙂 (OK, maybe I don’t really want to know!) You really are developing some crazy skills these days…snakes, lizards, scorpions, fans in the night – what a life.

Hey, congrats on the soccer scoring – how sweet is that?!! I didn’t even know you were playing again this semester. Is it the same team you were on before Christmas? How’s the language coming along?

Seriously exciting news about the Prayer House – it’s so encouraging to hear about the progress!! Thanks for keeping us posted. Hey, are you doing other ministries also? I noticed you were mentioned in some other blogs re other ministries & wondered about those. (Maybe some of the references were to Caleb A?)

As always, know that you are prayed for regularly & often. Love you & miss you~

  3. Dude, why didn’t you tell me you killed a snake and a scorpion!!! Just wait till Saturday, Mom. We’re killing something bigger and eating it!!! Word.

  4. Hey Caleb,
Thanks for taking time to blog. We enjoy it so much as you share what’s going on, even if it’s killing snakes and scorpions. The latter is probably the most dangerous unless the snake is a poisonous one. I killed a few small ones at home when I was growing up at home and a couple or so at our home in Mentor when the kids were small. They give me the willies. the snakes, not the kids! ~_~
Sorry to hear about the fan crash, but super glad it missed you.
So glad to hear about the soccer scoring! Yay!! And the ten hour prayer sessions sound wonderful, but leaves me wondering when you sleep and eat?? and do other ministry and play soccer, etc. We are so pleased with what God is doing in your life and how you are receiving it from Him. He’s the greatest!
Love & prayers are with you,
    Grandma
